Quail Lodge Resort & Golf Club is a Resort 18 hole golf course located in Carmel, California.

Quail Lodge golf course first opened for play in 1963. The course was designed by Robert Muir Graves.

The Quail Lodge Golf Club course provides 6,500 yards of challenging play for golfers of all skill levels. This walk-able par-71 course features 10 lakes, the scenic Carmel River, and sunny skies nearly year-round.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6449 yards. The course rating is 71.9 and it has a slope rating of 128. From the forward tees the course measures 5363 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 541 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 146 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 4, a 403 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Quail Lodge Golf Club is # 17, the 146 yard par-3.

I have played Quail quite a few times over many years and it is always in good shape and a great day of golf.

Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Better than average course for the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

A wonderful place to play. The whole feeling from driving in to a drink afterward was above expectations. The shop staff was very helpful, as if I were a long lost relative. Wonderful!

Course is nicely laid out and was a blast to play. Only issue is that in late afternoons the wind picks up in the valley, would have preferred to play in the morning.

Quail is an enjoyable day and a challenging round. No two holes are alike. But there are as good or better in the area.
